When I started as an Artist Manager and Agent, I began collaborating with some exceptional producers. They all had remarkable releases, some on the best labels, but they didn’t get the shows they had hoped for. Why was that?
I noticed that all these artists were doing the same thing: absolutely nothing.
When they signed their releases with the label, they simply waited until the release date and hoped for the best. Sometimes this might work, especially if you’ve created the best track ever made that has the potential to go viral. However, this is akin to buying a lottery ticket and hoping for the jackpot.
